What customers say?

“ Amazing experience, I had my birthday here last minute. And the staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. ”

“ I'm quite a regular here - my latest visit was on 26/11/25. Well what can I say? Each time I decide to drop in its like receiving a big homely 'virtual hug'. The menu in my view is excellent for a medium sized tea room and the freshly made portions are generous making the value very good indeed. I can personally recommend the jacket potatos, toasties and the salads are all freshly done. The homemade cake selection is to 'die for' - the problem is choosing which one to go for! The staff are very welcoming, efficient and the place has a 'family run' feel to it. The decor also has a very charming feel even down to the lovely vintage crockery used. All of the above helps make the 'Vintage Rose Tea Room' a unique place to go. (The upstairs loo is of good size and is very well kept to). I thoroughly recommend this lovely gem of a place... ”

“ An absolute delight. An authentic good old fashioned tea room with a modern twist. All the tea favs are there, the cakes are brilliant and the quiche is worth waiting for. Really cute decor, lovely staff and perfect for lunch or a cuppa. ”

- Oliver Happy -

“ This is a very special cafe. If you're in Storrington and enjoy a comfortable environment with wonderful cakes and savouries served with real cups and plates, go here. You won't be sorry, but I'm afraid to say that other places won't seem half as good afterwards! ”

“ Been here a few times on my travels. Food has been excellent every time with fresh tasty ingredients served in generous proportions. Staff are smiling and friendly. If I lived nearby this would be my go to food place. Try it and see ”

- Paul Miller -

“ I had been meaning to pop in here for months, and today we finally got to, now I wish I'd got there earlier!! Food was amazing, really good selection, staff helpful and friendly, beautiful cakes and a really good gluten free selection for my partner. Plenty of room for the buggy too. We will DEFINITELY be coming back very soon... Wonderful place 5 ”

“ Such a lovely Gem. Ladies are so nice and friendly Loved the coffee it was so good ( I am a fussy coffee drinker bu theway ) ”

- Nada -

“ Lovely food and staff. Note that they no longer do the traditional 3-tier afternoon tea (as previous reviews suggest) but they made up an afternoon platter for us (on a large plate). If you're looking for a full afternoon tea experience with dainty sarnies and pastries on 3 tiers etc. then it's probably not for you but if you're happy to choose your own sandwiches (crust on), scones and sweets then you'll enjoy the Vintage Tea Room. The upstairs is very pretty with lovely decor. ”
